Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on additional
measures for speeding up the social-economic development of Sabirabad
Region, AzerTag reports.
Some village roads in the region were damaged by the flooding of the
rivers Kura and Araz. The Sabirabad-Gasymbeyli-Narlyg-Garagashly road
connecting 18 villages with a total population of 34,000 people is in
a bad condition.
The road will be repaired using the president's reserve fund, provided
by the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2010. Sabirabad executive
authorities need 1.5 million mantas.
