Russian land forces are concluding tests of low-range drones, RIA
Novosti reports, citing the press-secretary of the land forces
department of the Russian Defense Ministry Lieutenant-Colonel Sergey
Vlasov.
He said that the tests has lasted 2 months at the Gorokhovetskiy and
Alabinskiy fields of the Western Military District.
There were over 20 drone complexes. Complexes with the best features
were recommended for purchase, including Orlan, Lastochka and Eleron.
Vlasov noted that the complexes are mainly tested by the people who
will operate them in combat - commanders of platoons, battalions and
brigades.
