Iran will not make concessions in talks with West

Iran will make no concessions in its nuclear program within
multilateral negotiations planned in mid November, Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Bodzhnurd, dpa reports.

The High European Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security
Policy Catherine Ashton, representative of the 'Six' (UK, China,
France, Germany, Russia and USA), proposed negotiations on November 15
in Vienna.

Tehran did not deny or confirm the date, adding that it needs to
clarify the topic of discussions. Iran will not halt its uranium
enrichment program.

USA and a set of other Western countries accuse Iran in developing nuclear
arms under the cover of peaceful nuclear research. The UN Security
Council has already passed 6 resolutions, four of them are aimed
against Iran and demand it to halt uranium enrichment. Two resolutions
contain warnings. Iran insists that the agreement on non-proliferation
of nuclear arms does not forbid use of nuclear technologies for
peaceful purposes.
