Armenian-Russian center innovating cooperation opens in Yerevan.

The Russian-Armenian innovation cooperation center will was opened in Yerevan on April 15 headed by Ruzan Asatryan, head of the Armenian state Committee for Science. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has pointed out that the main aim of the Center is elaborating a joint innovation policy and implementing projects, reports RIA Novosti.

Lavrov also added that Russia’s shift to innovative development is indispensable to secure its successful future, competitiveness in conditions of fast changing world. “The global economic crises demonstrated the level of mutual dependence of the states and importance of joint activities in overcoming its consequences.”
