Iran exported 4.8 billion cubic meters of gas this year (which starts
on March 21 Iran) and expects the indicator to reach 7 billion cubic
meters before the end of the year, Trend reports, citing Mehr.
The average daily imports of gas from Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan
reached 3.9 billion cubic meters (17 million cubic meters daily).
Iran increased gas imports from early this year to October by
approximately 32.8% and expect to make it 5 billion cubic meters at
the end of the year.
Average annual gas extraction since the start of this year is
approximately 413 million cubic meters.
From mid-March to mid-October, the country extracted a total of 95
billion cubic meters of gas, 6% surplus compared with the same period
last year.
Iran increased production capacity on 13 of its gas processing plants
by 5% to over 505million cubic meters daily.
This year gas consumption in the country rose by 7% compared with last
year, reaching approximately 99 billion cubic meters. This means that
Iran consumes approximately 430 million cubic meters of gas daily,
which is 28 million cubic meters more than last year.
