Organizers of 2014’s Olympic games preparations will provide strict ecological control, Vice-Premier Dmitry Cozak said on a press conference in Sochi on April 15, Yuga.ru reports.
“We took a wide range of measures to provide strict ecological control in construction of Olympic facilities. Today the programme of ecological support and monitoring over Olympic games preparations is being realized”, - Cozak said.
The Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russian Federation noted, that participants of Olympic project are in touch with Russian and international ecologists.
“We have a regular, constructive dialogue with the majority of Russian and international ecological organizations”, - “Olympic” Vice-Premier said.
Dmitry Cozak said, that he is satisfied with the way problems with Sochi ecology are solved. “We are even prepared to spend even more money, make facilities more complicated, to preserve nature. I am satisfied with the way all problems today are being solved”, - Kozak concluded.
