Sochi plans to launch a garbage recycling plant and has held its first
testing, Yuga.ru reports.
The plant has a capacity of 200,000 tons annually. It will sort the
waste by removing organic parts to a special platform where it will be
processed.
Max Media Group said that the Vice-Governor of Kuban, Jambulat
Khaturov, and the Prosecutor of the Krasnodar Territory, Leonid
Korzhinek, inspected the construction rate and quality of the plant.
Khatunov said that, most importantly, the new ecological standard has
begun full-scale realization.
