The government of Georgia plans to reduce the unemployment level in
2010-2014 using economic growth, Business Georgia reports.
The Georgian Statistics Agency reports that Georgia had 1.656 million
employed citizens in 2009. 36% of them were hired, 63.9% were
self-employed.
In 2009 the employment level increased by 0.4% compared with 2008,
reaching 16.9%.
