"Olympstroi" has finished implementation of the ecological system management and proved that its principles correspond to international standard ISO 14001. According to RIA Novosti, the state corporation was given the relevant certificate on Wednesday at the Sochi unitary information center "Sochi 2014".
The president of "Olympstroi", Taimuraz Bolloyev, said that getting the certificate involves not only meeting international requirements, but also forming a system of responsibilities for the ecological development of the "Sochi 2014" project.
The ISO 14001 standard has existed since 1996. Its establishment was a significant step on the way to accepting the importance of ecological problems by businesses around the world.
