Ukraine approves agreements over Russian gas costs

The governments of Russia and Ukraine have approved the agreements reached between Gazprom and its Ukrainian partners over cooperation in gas sphere, including those concerning costs, reports ITAR-TASS citing the Russian government press service.

The negotiations between the delegations of Russian and Ukrainian gas sector cooperation experts have been continued today. "The results of the negotiations have been reported to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin," the spokesman noticed. According to him, the solutions agreed are based on proposals made by the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich to Russia.

The spokesman specified that "the agreements achieved  over costs should be formalized with the corresponding governmental decree." to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin ordered to prepare a draft of the decree in the short run, " the spokesman said.
