Moscow hopes to renew talks on Iranian nuclear program

Moscow hopes the work of the international mediators on Iran will
restart in early December 2010, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs
Sergey Lavrov said, RIA Novosti reports.

He said that the presidents of Russia and Iran, Dmitry Medvedev and
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, did not give any details about renewal of the
talks. Turkey has offered to host the talks, but there are other
options as well, such as the headquarters of international
organizations in Europe.

The Russian and Iranian presidents expressed an understanding of the
unprejudiced nature of the Russian partnership with Iran. Russia is
ready to cooperate in all spheres. Contacts will continue.

In the near future the sides need to launch Bushehr, Iran's first
nuclear power plant, built by Russia. Both presidents expressed
satisfaction with the process and agreed to continue cooperation in
the sphere, based on international law and the norms of the IAEA.
