Azerbaijan and Poland today signed two memos from the results of a business forum held in Baku, News.az reports.
In particular, memos were signed on mutual understanding and cooperation between the Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation (Azpromo) and the Polish agency of information and foreign languages (PAIiLZ), on mutual understanding and cooperation between the National Confederation of Azerbaijani employers and the Polish association of employers.
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Economic Development Minister, Niyazi Safarov, told the business forum that Azerbaijan and Poland have established high-level political relations and hold regular meetings and sessions of the intergovernmental commissions on economic cooperation.
"The aim of the current forum is to develop and deepen bilateral cooperation between the two countries and businessmen," he said.
Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Energy and Industry, Gulmammad Javadov, voiced hope that "Polish entrepreneurs will be able to establish contacts with Azerbaijani entrepreneurs."
