The federal and regional budgets will issue 3.216 billion rubles for
realization of the 'Education' and 'Health' projects in Russia's Kuban
in 2011, Yuga.ru reports.
The regional department of finances, budget and control said that the
602 million rubles will be issued from the federal budget and 2.612
billion rubles from the regional budget.
Over 553 million rubles will be paid to teachers of junior classes,
5.6 million to the best teachers, 45 million for distant education of
handicapped children, within the framework of the 'Education' project.
There will be adjustments to education service, education results,
efficient use of finances. The changes will be made according to the
'Our new school' initiative, which involves switch to new education
standards, development of a support system for gifted children,
improvement of teachers' qualification, changes to the school
infrastructure, preservation and improvement of pupils' health,
expansion of the school's autonomy.
Realization of the 'Health' project involves 955.7 million rubles to
be spent on high-tech medical services, 341.6 million rubles as
payments to the staff of first-aid stations, 645 million rubles on
generic certificates, 38.1 million rubles on immunization of the
population, prevention of HIV, hepatitis, and treatment of HIV.
