The Deputy OIl Minister, general director of the Iranian national gas company, Javad Ouji has stated that the second line of the transnational pipeline of the Northern and North-East regions of Iran and the one transferring gas from Turkmenistan to Iran will be opened, the news agency Iran News reports.
The length of the entire pipeline of the Northern and North-Eastern regions of Iran will be of 1,059 kilometres.
This pipeline will help to increase gas export to Europe and will cover future needs of gas in the Northern regions of Iran, Ouji said.
