Azerbaijan will be able to deliver to Ukraine annually about five
billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas, the Azerbaijani
Minister of Industry and Energy, Natik Aliyev, announced today in the
Ukraine, Trend reports citing the RBC-Ukraine.
The Ukraine might join the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector
(AGRI) project, which is aimed at supplying Europe with liquefied gas
through Azerbaijan to Georgia and via the Black Sea to Romania. The
Ukrainian side is expected to construct a terminal for liquefied
natural gas in Odessa.
On the 14rh of September Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary
signed the Baku Declaration on the draft AGRI in Baku.
