UAE signs agreement on double taxation with Georgia

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has signed a double-taxation-avoidance agreement with the Republic of Georgia, CPI Financial reports. Younis Haji Al Khoori, Director General of the Ministry of Finance, signed the agreement on behalf of the UAE, while Rozdan Kimola, the Georgian Deputy Minister of Finance, signed the agreement on behalf of her own country.

The agreement aims at enhancing cooperation and partnership between the UAE and the Republic of Georgia; by creating a suitable investment environment, the agreement helps to encourage development in both countries.
