Iran purchases medium-range missile carriers

Iran has purchased medium-range missiles from North Korea, which can
reach capitals in West Europe countries and Moscow, The New York Times
says, citing Wikileaks, RIA Novosti reports.

According to a telegram dated February 24, 2010, Iran purchased 19
R-27 missiles from North Korea. The newspaper says that presence of a
complete package of missiles in Iran was unexpected, since experts
believed that Iran possesses only single components of the missiles.

The site published materials about US confidential contacts with
foreign states earlier. On Sunday the site was blocked.

Nonetheless, the site provided information to Western papers.
Wikileaks was planning to publish 250 000 documents.
