Krasnodar Territory may see its Gross Regional Product (GRP) rate rise
by 13% this year, reaching the previous year's level of 930 billion
rubles, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press-service of the regional
department for investment and project assistance.
Last year the region produced 821 billion rubles of GRP. In the 10
months of 2010 the rate in Kuban increased by over 5% compared to the
same period in 2009, the agency says.
The department also said that Kuban is the GRP leader in terms of
agriculture in 2010. Its housing sector takes second place and
attraction of investment — third.
