Russia to build nuclear power plant in Turkey

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev approved the agreement on construction of a nuclear power plant in Turkey, signed between Turkey and Russia, TRT reports. This was announced by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Taner Yildiz.
The agreement provides for the construction and operation of Turkey's first nuclear power plant in the town of Akkuyu in the Mersin district.
