SOCAR fulfils gas deliveries, exceeding forecast by 13%

According to recently published official statistics, the State Oil
Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) delivered 1,175,155 cubic meters of natural gas to the gas supply system of the country in November 2010, exceeding October figures by 11%, APA reports.

260.505 million cm of gas was pumped into underground gas storage, and 4.559 million cm of gas was pumped out of it during the month. 919.209 mln cubic meters of natural gas were consumed during November. 21.966
mln cubic meters of natural gas was exported to Georgia, 60.797 mln cubic meters to Russia and 17.939 mln cubic meters was transported to Nakhchevan through Iran.

At the same time, SOCAR delivered 10,599.438 mln cubic meters to the natural gas supply system of the country during January-November, i.e. 1 182.938 mln cubic meters, 12.6% more than forecast.

Previously, 9,341.674 mln cubic meters of natural gas were consumed during January-June. Of this, 7,990.165 mln cubic meters was delivered to Azerenergy OJSC, 300.430 mln cubic meters was exported to Georgia, 759,934 cubic meters to Russia and 291,645 cubic meters of natural gas were transported to Nakhchevan through Iran.
