The Royal Time company, which built the first legal casino in Russia,
plans to work in the Southern gambling zone "Azov-City" on the border of Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov region until at least 2014, RIA-Novosti reports.
The federal law banning the activities of casinos throughout the country
except for designated areas in the Primorye, Altay region,
Kaliningrad region, Krasnodar Territory and Rostov region came into
force on July 1st 2009 However, in November Russian President Dmitry Medvedev excluded the Rostov region from the list of regions where the gaming zones will be located.
At one point the Royal Time company leased nine pieces of land in the
Southern gambling zone.
