The procedure of registering cargo at customs offices for the Olympic Games in Sochi will be simplified using the system of electronic billing, Yuga.ru reports.
The head of the Southern Customs Department Alexander Getman said that the trade turnover on Sochi customs offices in 2010 reached $38 million. 93% of the cargo is inert materials. Technological equipment and other equipment will be transported later.
Getman added that a lot of inert materials are coming from Abkhazia and registered using the electronic billing system. This helps the process to take only 20-40 minutes.
