The authorities of the Rostov region are to spend more than 5.6 billion rubles on improving the road infrastructure in 2011, Interfax-Yug reports.
According to the deputy minister of transport of the Rostov region, Vasily Goidy, the regional budget in 2011 presupposes 4.5 billion rubles on the road infrastructure, 1.5 billion of which will be spent on construction and reconstruction, 1.2 billion on repairs and 1.5 billion on general maintenance.
It is planned to reconstruct 138.5 km of roads.
