Azerbaijan proposes pumping eight million tons of oil a year through the Odessa-Brody pipeline to Ukraine, Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko said in an interview with the Kurier Uriadovyi, newspaper, reports Trend.
He said the profitability of the Odesa-Brody oil pipeline will be achieved when it is pumping at least 10 million tons per year.
"Today we have several options... Along with the existing version of the system in reverse mode to pump Russian oil, there are proposals from Belarus on the transit of Venezuelan crude oil of up to five million tonnes per year and offers from Azerbaijan to supply to Ukraine to eight million tonnes of oil per year, " he said.
