The new point of reception and processing poultry in the Blagodaren
District in the Stavropol Territory plans to double bird meat
production in the region. It will be launched next year, RIA Novosti
reports, citing the Minister of Agriculture of the region Alexander
Manakov.
Manakov said that it is the largest innovative project in the poultry
processing industry in the Russian south. The joint-stock company
'Stavropolskiy Broyler' will aim to produce 80,000 tons of poultry
annually.
The minister emphasized that the project is unique for ecological
security. All of its waste is utilized. The facility covers 20 900
square meters.
Manakov said that the agrarians of Stavropol Territory are actively
using innovative technologies. As an example, Raffaisen Agro plant in
Novoalexandrovsk produces 85 000 tons of combined feed annually. The
production on the plant is automatic, it is managed directly from
Germany.
