Kazakhstan to use Russian and Belarusian oil infrastructure

Kazakhstan will have the right to use the infrastructure of Russia and
Belarus to transport oil on beneficial terms, based on the agreement
of the formation of a Common Economic Space (CES), KazTAG reports.

The issue has been discussed at the Moscow-Astana video conference on
the CES, the Kazakh Vice-Minister for Economic Development and Trade
Timur Suleymenov said, Kazakhstan Today reports.

The vice-minister noted that good benefits and non-discriminate prices
and physical access to the infrastructure of the Russian and
Belarusian railroads are of great significance to Kazakhstan.

He said that they are actively using Russia's Transneft system to
transport oil but there has been no legal basis in form of
international agreements. The new approaches are a great achievement,
the vice-minister concluded.
