Iran to build wind turbines in Pakistani province

An Iranian company has signed a contract to build a wind power
installation with a capacity of 1.0 megawatts in the Pakistani
province of Sindh. The contract is worth $100 million, Iran News
reports, with reference to the Iranian news agency FARS.

Iran is the only country in the Middle East that produces wind turbine
generators and has experience in building wind power plants.
