SOCAR discovers new gas reserves

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has discovered small gas
reserves in the Suleiman Akhtarma Gobustan area, the website of the
company's Office of Geology and Geophysics says, Trend reports.

As a result of continued drilling, it will be possible to ensure gas
supplies to the nearby villages and towns.
