Azerbaijani parliament to oblige workers to insure against accidents

An article on mandatory insurance for workers against disability
resulting from occupational accidents and occupational diseases will be included in the Azerbaijani Labour Code, said the chairman of the Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis, Hadi
Rajabli on Monday, Day.az reports.
According to the State Labour Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, in 2009 all in all 250 accidents occurred at the
place of production.
