The Turkish Statistics Committee said that the level of unemployment
in September 2010 reached 11.3%, dropping by 2.1% compared with the
same period last year.
It also dropped in comparison with August 2010, when the unemployment
level was 13.4%.
Turkey currently has 2.934 million unemployed. The unemployment level
in cities is 13.9%, in the countryside - 6.3%.
