GDP in Armenia increases 2.6% in 2010

GDP in Armenia grew 2.6% in January-November 2010, compared with the
same period in 2009, News Armenia reports.


The National Statistics Service of Armenia says that GDP reached $8.6 billion.
Consumer prices in January-November 2009 grew 8.1% compared with the
same period in 2009. The indicator grew 7.5% in January-November 2009
compared with December.


Prices for industrial products rose 23.3% in the first 11 months of
this year, compared with the same period in 2009. The industry
produced goods worth a total of $2.039 billion, exceeding the same
period in 2009 by 9.8%.


Foreign trade turnover in Armenia reached $4.266 billion in
January-November 2010, rising 18.9% compared with the same period in
2009.


GDP growth in the state budget for 2010 was estimated at 1.2%.
