The macroeconomic statistics published on December 20 by the National Statistical Service of Armenia demonstrate that in January-November 2010 the economy grew by 2.6%. Armenia's GDP amounted to 310 billion drams ($862 million), Armenia Today reports.
According to the National Statistical Service, growth was registered in all sectors except agriculture and construction. During those 11 months the volume of industrial output amounted to 734.6 billion drams ($ 2,041,000,000), which is 9.8% more than in the previous year. Agricultural output fell 14.5%, while the construction industry recorded a decline of 3.8%.
