The State Agency on management and use of gas and oil resources under the president of Turkmenistan is going to close its European branch, based in London, Trend reports. The order was signed by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.
The order says that this is being done following development of the effective activity of the Agency.
The main functions of the Agency are examination of investment proposals, issuing licenses for exploitation of gas and oil resources, holding negotiations and signing treaties with foreign organizations.
