Iran has agreed to establish border industrial zones, so-called
industrial cities, in Mekhran and Shalamcha in the provinces of Ilam
and Kuzistan together with Iraq, within the framework of the policy
for development of trade and economic ties with neighbouring
countries, Iran News cites IRIB news.
The borders of the industrial zones will be determined in cooperation
with the Defense Ministry.
The administration of the vice-president for strategic planning and
control has a goal to finance construction of border industrial zones,
using budget finances provided by the Ministry of Industry and Mines.
The finances will be provided next year as well.
