Armenia will purchase 800 tons of elite Russian wheat seed in 2011,
Armenian Minister of Agriculture Gerasim Alaverdyan said, News Armenia
reports.
The purchase is part of the program of seed production development for
2010-2014. The government provided 558 million drams.
The minister also said that 1010 tons of elite Russian wheat seeds
were purchased, 50 tons of which were provided to the Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic.
