Conference on Iranian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation takes place in Beijing

A one-day conference on trade and economic cooperation between Iran
and China took place in Beijing. It was attended by the Iranian
Ambassador to China, Mehdi Safari, and Iranian businessmen residing in
Beijing, Iran News reports.

Mehdi Safari said that that the trade volume between the two countries
had reached 30 billion dollars a year and the heads of two states
recurrently emphasized the need to further expand trade relations.

The Iranian ambassador to China also noted that the development course
of relations between the two countries in the current year indicates
that China is very interested in close cooperation with Iran.
