The president of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) Rovnag Abdullayev on Monday met a delegation headed by the president of the Turkish TPAO company, Mehmet Uysal, SOCAR said, Trend reports.
Uysal updated Abdullayev on foreign projects carried out by TPAO. He said the Turkish company closely monitors the projects of SOCAR in Azerbaijan and Turkey and shows great interest to them.
The SOCAR president informed Uysal about the company's planned works in Azerbaijan and its ongoing investment projects in Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries.
The heads of the two companies also discussed prospects for expanding cooperation.
