The government of Georgia and SOCAR (the State Oil Company of the
Azerbaijani Republic) have signed a new deal on gas supplies to
Georgia until 2020, Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri told a press
conference, Business Georgia reports.
He says that the contract provides secure gas supplies to Georgia. The
minister added that it will stabilize consumer prices.
