Increase of utility rates in Karachay-Cherkessia not to exceed 15% in 2011

The Department for Tariffs and Rates of Karachay-Cherkessia has
approved rates for all types of public services in 2011. Their
increase in the region will not exceed 15%, RIA Novosti cites the
deputy head of the department, Viktor Pskhu.

Electricity charges will be raised 10% in the next year.  The average
growth of rates for water in Karachay-Cherkessia in 2011 will amount
to 10-12%. The heating energy rate will be increased by 15%.
