The news that an Azerbaijani company will invest in the construction
of a hotel in Batumi, Georgia, was announced today at the foundation
laying ceremony of the "Gardens of Babylon" Hotel in Batumi, Trend
reports.
The opening of the hotel is scheduled for 2012. The Azerbaijani "DIA
Holding" company has allocated $ 35 million for its construction. This
will be the first investment in the hotel industry of Georgia from
Azerbaijan.
