SOCAR takes steps towards Asian market

Azerbaijan has passed the registration of the company Vietnamese
Petroviyetnam, the website of the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan has
announced, Trend reports.

In April last year, the company SOCAR (the State Oil Company of
Azerbaijan) and the Petroviyetnam oil corporation signed a "Memorandum
of understanding in the oil and gas sector and an agreement on
long-term deliveries of Azerbaijani oil to the Vietnamese Oil
Refinery” in Baku.

The head of SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev, stated earlier that the Asian
market is one of the company's priority targets.
