The average level of freighting in Armenia reached 9.649 million tons
in January-November 2010, increasing by 9.1% compared with the same
period in 2009, the National Statistics Service of Armenia reports.
5.679 million tons (58.8%) of the freighting was carried out via road
transport, approximately 2.804 million tons (29.1%) - railroad
transport, 1.157 million tons (12%) - pipelines, 7,800 tons (0.1%) -
air transport.
The cargo turnover in January-November 2010 reached 2.786 million
tons-km, increasing by 20.8%, compared with the same period in 2009.
