Azerbaijan is expected to see GDP growth of 3.5%, a report by the
Global Economic Prospects 2010 on the official website of the World
Bank says. The same forecasts of the WB on Azerbaijan had been made
earlier, Trend reports.
The forecasts for 2012 are 3.9%. The current operations are expected
at 24.4% of the GDP in 2011, 24% - in 2012.
Azerbaijan, Russia and Uzbekistan are among the countries that managed
to improve their surplus in 2009-2010.
The world GDP increased by 3.9% in 2010, it is expected to rise by
3.3% in 2011. Most of the developing countries overcame the economic
recession well. Many restored their market economy and were close to
restoring their growth potential in late 2010.
The general forecast for the economic growth of developing countries
for 2011 is 6% and for 2012 - 6.1%. The forecast for the economic
growth of developing countries, excluding China and India, will be
4.3% in 2011 and 4.5% in 2012.
