The deputy director general of ‘Iran Khodro’ for production issues,
Khoseyn Tadjari, said that in the first quarter of this year the
company produced over 169,000 cars of various trademarks, which is 32%
more in comparison with the same period last year (128,000), Iran News
reports.
According to Tadjari, the highest produced vehicle by ‘Iran Khodro ‘
is the Peugeot 405, with over 50,000 produced. In the first quarter
the company produced 34,000 Peugeot 206s, over 27,000 Samands and
about 18,000 Peugeot Pars, 23,000 pickups, 11,000 Peugeot Roas, over
3000 Renault Tonder 90s and over 1000 Suzukis.
