Turkey intends to get its specialists involved in repairing the Ukrainian submarine "Kiev", the press service of the Ukrainian Navy reports. At the moment a delegation from the Turkish Navy is in Sevastopol, which intends to offer the Turkish Navy's assistance in holding performance trials for the submarine "Kiev", reports Rosbalt.
During their visit the Turkish servicemen visited the submarine, which is in the completion phase of repairs at Shipyard 13 of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and the Search and Rescue Centre of the Ukrainian Navy. The Turkish delegation will also discuss conditions for running erformance trials for the submarine. The interoperability of the rescue services of the two fleets will also be discussed .
It was reported earlier that Russia would be ready to provide the technical equipment for the Ukrainian submarine "Kiev".
