Iran to discuss recent events in Lebanon with Turkey

The Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi,
will visit Turkey, Trend cites the Iranian news agency MEHR.

Salehi will discuss the latest events in Lebanon with Turkish officials.

After the 11 ministers of the faction of the “8th of March Alliance”
resigned, the Lebanese government collapsed. Following the resignation
of one third of the cabinet ministers on January 12th, the Lebanese
government was forced to resign completely. Lebanese Prime Minister
Saad al-Hariri received the news of the resignation of the government
during an official visit he was making to the United States.
