Armenia and Cyprus agree on cooperation

The presidents of Armenia and Cyprus Serzh Sargsyan and Demetris Christofias, signed a joint declaration on bilateral cooperation, News-Armenia reports referring to the press service of the Armenian state.

In particular, in accordance with the document, Armenia and Cyprus are going to intensify political relations and cooperation at all levels - both on a bilateral basis and within the UN and other international organizations.

Cyprus, in turn, supports the efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group and stressed that the conflict should be resolved through peaceful means, without the use of force, based on the principles and norms of international law.

Armenia and Cyprus also emphasize the importance of enhancing economic cooperation.
