Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov and the chief of the Turkish Gendarmerie Forces General Necdet Ozel met today in Baku to discuss further cooperation, Trend reports.
According to Usubov, one of the most valuable achievements after Azerbaijan gained independence was the restoration and development of the fraternal ties with Turkey following the policy "one nation, two states" which was laid by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
According to Usubov, the visit of the General Necdet Ozel to Baku will have a positive impact on the development of relationships between Turkey and Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that the two brotherly countries will continue to successfully exploit the potential opportunities for cooperation.
