Russia calls for establishing a single Palestinian state with the
capital in East Jerusalem, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at
talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan, RIA Novosti reports.
Medvedev announced the Russian position at negotiations with the
President of the Palestinian National Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, on
Tuesday.
Medvedev called Jordan a country friendly to Russia, noting that they
have regular contacts.
The king of Jordan said that Amman praises the partnership level with
Russia, especially in the economy.
