"Our enemies try to prevent the development of Ithe ranian nuclear programme, but we will go through thick and thin," the president of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadinejad, said in Jeids, Trend reports.
According to Ahmadinejad, the plans of those countries that want to stop Iran getting nuclear technology are in vain, as Iran has already got them.
He also stated that the US and other Western countries have a choice. If they continue to implements sanctions against Iran, they will fail anyway, as Iran will not give up. The second choice is cooperation with Iran in the sphere of nuclear power.
These statements were made just before a new round of negotiations between Iran and the 5+1 countries. The negotiations are to be held on January 21 in Istanbul.
